The Divided Kingdom

Let’s explore the parable of The Strong Man. Jesus teaches us that we can not remain the divided Kingdom for he who is not with him is against him. And those who are not gathering for Salvation are scattering the lost …

The Divided Kingdom

I find it funny that every time Jesus would do good for someone by healing them or casting out demons in their lives or as in this story he did both.

The Pharisees could not handle him doing good for people. So much so that they would spend their time twisting the Old Testament teachings and laws to try and trick him or discredit him.

Matthew 12:24-30 (KJV)

24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad

Picture this: (Just a few verses earlier) It’s the Sabbath day and Jesus sees a man with a deformed hand at the door of the synagogue. The Pharisees asked him if it was lawful to do work on the Sabbath. Jesus then asked him which of you would not get your sheep out of a ditch, if he fell in a ditch, on the Sabbath? Of course you would, so yes it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

People then brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and dumb. Jesus healed him. and right away they began to ask if this was the son of David spoken to be the Messiah? The Pharisees could not have that truth out so they tried yet again to discredit Jesus by saying he is doing this in the power of the prince of the Devil. They love to try and make things look like something that it is not, in order to divert the truth. Spread Fake News?

When the unclean spirits are cast out by the power of the Holy Spirit the conversion of sinners to a life of faith and obedience to the kingdom of God is come.

Don’t let Satan discredit Christ today. Know that you to can have the old nature of man, the demons and Satan removed from you for ever. Just trust him and ask him into your heart by faith.

Without Christ you are nothing more than a person as the Blind and dumb man with a demon. Jesus wants to remove that from you.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

“All who do not aid or rejoice in such a change are against Christ”,
