Book of Enoch

Welcome to Book Club! We wanted to pick the first topic as something unusual. I became aware recently of the Book of Enoch the Profit through my sister. She had reviewed some vids on youtube about the book. However, neither of us had actually read the book. Since it allegedly addressed the reasons behind God’s decision to destroy the Earth with the Great Flood in Genesis it seemed like a good place to start! Join us in reading the Book of Enoch, Lets Learn some stuff together…

The Book of Enoch The Prophet

(Scholar’s Choice)

by John Baty

This is a work of Enoch the prophet who gives us information that was shared with him about the Falling of the Watcher Angels on Earth.

It is not for the faint of heart and many Pastors have warned that one must be strong in faith to endeavor to interpret this work.

If you are a young Christian please consult your Pastor before reading, you should be familiar with and have studied the Books of the Bible before this book is reviewed.

It is controversial…Once completed we will share our review and reach out for a discussion forum.

I purchased my version of the hard copy on Amazon. Here is a link to the version that I chose…

The Book of Enoch the Prophet

We have included for your convenience a video narrative of the Book of Enoch. I have found it very intriguing. I recommend that you find the time to evaluate it’s merit.

It has been suggested that since we are reading the Book of Enoch the Prophet we should be reminded of the scripture; The Whole Armor of God. Remaining on Guard against the enemy.

 Ephesians 6:10-18 (KJV)

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
