His Coming
a poem by Aglow…
Under the clear and starry sky While lying on a hill I looked up to the Lord Most High And began to feel a thrill
And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first
My heart began a rapid pound As Jesus I behold Now I just heard the trumpet sound As I entered the City of Gold As Jesus said the Rapture came Now sinners could not repent The Earth will never be the same The beast had now been sent to Armageddon the forces drew A struggle between good and bad Christians bid this world adieu the unsaved wished they had
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh
666, the mark of the beast the Lord set evil free With Satan reaping quite a feast Such torment there would be Screams of anguish filled the land As the seven vials were poured With the future resting in His Hands The Earth fears what's in store The Lord drew the Sun near the Earth Man's thirst would be immense Worldly treasures lose their worth As the heat becomes intense
“And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
Man will pray for water and rain To soothe his blistered skin A fight to the finish to ease the pain A battle man cannot win so sinner listen, heed my advice Accept my Jesus today Damnation is a horrid price For eternity to pay
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Jesus died for you and me Our sins are now forgiven He shed His blood to set us free so we could live in Heaven Just let Jesus in your heart Escape a fiery fate Let Jesus guide you from the start Before it's much too late
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
In the Book of Life your name MUST be To enjoy eternal salvation A Christ-like life we all must lead To avoid infernal damnation so with my Jesus I will stay And Heaven will be my home So take me with you Jesus I pray And never more I'll roam Thank you Jesus
